After these past few weeks, I had to take time off. I knew for my own sanity that social media (which, I include this podcast) was going to be negative. Stepping away was necessary for me as I did not want to get involved with all that has been occurring. So, for this episode, hereContinue reading “In Need of Some Good Vibes?”

No names are dropped but some of the words that were used to describe a few women are said in this episode. It’s been awhile hasn’t it? How about we catch up!
For Episode 24, we have conversations about how we were raised (not going to church and being raised in the church) and how that has brought us to church.
For Episode 23, we finish up our Missions conversation! We bring up past experiences and discuss the differences between the local and global missions.
For Episode 22, we talk about missions. We have a conversation about our definitions of missions, outreach, and a particular dinosaur!
For Episode 21, a conversation was brought up in a staff meeting that lead to me thinking why is there a mentality that churches compete with one another. It doesn’t seem to make sense at all honestly. Churches need to be a team.
For Episode 20 (yes! we hit 20!), we take a stab at what it means to be a Christian. A lot of this episode comes from the book Searching For Sunday, by Rachel Held Evans (we would recommend this book). Can you be a Christian on your own?
Episode 19, it is all about death. We have a conversation about our thoughts on death, fears, afterlife, and heaven and hell. Understandably, death is a hard subject to talk about so we encourage those listeners to be aware of themselves as well as those around in case this is a trigger.
